Q1. What is the process of floor renovation?

A . There are 4 main stages which include:

Preparation - Usually old floors need to be prepared before sanding, nails removed, damaged floorboards changed etc. It can take a few hours up to one day
Floor sanding - Very noisy and hard work which changes the surface of your floors. Firstly we start with rough sanding paper and then change to a higher grid to finish with fine sanding. It takes from one to a few days, depending on the area and kind of wood
Varnishing and lacquering - After sanding, we need to give protection and a nice finish to your floors. Duration of work depends on what kind of finish is chosen - one to three days is usually required.
Cure time - You should not walk or move furniture on your new floors for up to three days

Q2. What is the price for floor sanding?

A. Our average price for sanding a floor which is in a normal condition is £25 (no additional VAT) per 1 sq meter. The minimum price is £250. The final price is given after the site inspection.
